Please, Text Your Realtor! 📳

If you're popular like me, you know the struggle - calls, emails, and notifications nonstop. As a successful realtor, my phone is basically a hotline. 📞 But with great success comes great spam. Between robocalls, telemarketers, and endless junk emails, it’s easy for real messages to get buried. And if you’ve ever wondered why a realtor didn’t get back to you - it might not be because they don’t care. It’s because they never saw your message in the first place.

That’s why texting is the best way to reach a realtor. Unlike calls that get flagged or emails that drown in spam, texts come through loud and clear. A simple message helps you cut through the noise and ensures we actually see your request.

How to Contact a Realtor the Right Way

If you’re reaching out to an agent, make it easy for us to know who you are and why you're contacting us. Here’s a quick guide to making your message stand out:

Text First: Keep it simple: "Hi, Jennifer. My name is Daniel, and I’m looking to move to the area. Please give me a call when you get a chance - I’d love to work with you!" This instantly tells me you’re serious and not another robocall.

Be Clear About Your Needs: If you’re calling about a home, text something like, “Hi, I’m interested in 123 Main St. When can I see it?” This way, I know exactly how to help you and can respond faster.

Follow Up Smartly: If you don’t hear back within a reasonable time, send a quick follow-up text rather than calling multiple times. Realtors juggle a lot, but we want to help - you just have to stand out from the spam.

What Not to Do:

  • Call multiple times in a row without leaving a message

  • Send vague texts like “Call me” with no context

  • Assume an ignored call means we don’t want to help

Realtors Cover Their Bases - You Should Too

As a dedicated agent, I cover all communication bases: call, text, and email - because I want my clients taken care of. But if you're just starting your real estate journey, make sure you’re reaching out in a way that gets noticed. In a world of spam overload, a simple, well-worded text can be the difference between being ignored and getting the home of your dreams.

So, next time you need a realtor? Text us first! 😉
